Stop-VocaFail is a dA group dedicated to encouraging users in the Vocaloid and UTAU fandoms to stop recoloring, stop pitching, and BE ORIGINAL.

The group mascot, Kagami Kawaiine, is a parody and an example of all the worst in the Vocaloid fandom: from her chipmunky pitched voice, to her recolored Hatsune Miku "design," to her "weeaboo" overuse of common Japanese.

What do we want? Less Kagami Kawaiine wannabes in the world that are meant to be taken seriously.
Obviously none of the bullshit in the "Other Annoyloids" gallery is serious. However, if you find your OC in "Featured," we'll gladly remove it at request, but take note of WHY it might have appeared here.

The Contributors in this group will happily give critiques and advice to aspiring UTAU and Vocaloid users in order for them to create their own original voices and designs.

The Truth about Nyan Cat. Okay. I just have to get this off my chest, and I think a rant is the best way to do it.

The "NyaNyaNyaNyaNyaNyaNya!" song wasn't based off Nyan Cat.

Okay, so first, let me explain the origins of the cat crapping rainbows. There was a song found on Nico Nico Douga called "NyaNyaNyaNyaNyaNyaNya!" done by a VOCALOID/UTAU user known as daniwell-P. (For those of you who aren't familiar with NND, it's basically the Japanese equivalent of YouTube, except you need an account to watch the videos.) It was then reprinted onto YouTube. Hi there everyone, Negau here again. I'm going to rant on pitchloids today.

(I feel like I shouldn't be ranting around the holidays, but…)

Before I continue, I'd like to make clear that I'm not talking about people who raise the gender factor of a Vocaloid to make their OC's voice. Those people are actually really creative to even think to do that, and are smart enough to actually use Vocaloid instead of Audacity.

Okay, anyway. So someone takes a Vocaloid song and then raises or lowers the pitch in Audacity and call that their Vocaloid/UTAUloid OC's voice. What they did, in reality, is recolor a voice, in a sensePitchloid Rant by *Negau-chan

Oh I am. I helped make Kagami Kawaiine.
But Annoyloids are meant to be a parody of badly made fanloids.
You know, when people pitch the songs up and stuff to earbleeding levels.

Kagami isn't even a pitchloid, she's edited in the Vocaloid software.
She's just a joke.
